Padraig and Carmel Naughton Presentation

Trinity College, Dublin

Renowned silversmith Kevin O’Dwyer was commissioned by Trinity College Dublin to create a special presentation piece for Pádraig and Carmel Naughton and the Naughton Foundation, in recognition of their generous donation of the new Science Gallery to the university. For this commission, O’Dwyer was asked to produce an architectural reflection of the building itself, using a powerful combination of bronze, silver, stone, and glass. The result was a striking contemporary artwork that echoed the Science Gallery’s innovative design while symbolizing the fusion of tradition, creativity, and discovery — qualities at the heart of both O’Dwyer’s craft and the Naughton Foundation’s enduring legacy.
