As Artistic Director and curator, Kevin O’Dwyer brings a distinctive vision shaped by decades of integrating art, landscape, and cultural memory. His approach centers on creating environments where artists can respond directly to the ecological, historical, and social narratives of a site. O’Dwyer builds programmes that encourage deep engagement rather than temporary placement—supporting artists through on-site research, collaborative dialogue with local communities, and the development of ambitious, site-specific installations. His leadership combines curatorial insight with a sculptor’s sensitivity to material, scale, and place, ensuring that each new artwork strengthens the project’s identity while contributing meaningfully to the landscape in which it lives.

O’Dwyer’s curatorial practice is internationally recognized for fostering innovative residencies and cross-disciplinary exchanges that bring together artists, ecologists, historians, performers, and community members. He is committed to creating inclusive cultural spaces where contemporary art serves as a catalyst for storytelling, environmental awareness, and shared experience. Whether guiding the evolution of a large-scale sculpture park or shaping a new initiative, O’Dwyer emphasizes long-term stewardship, high artistic standards, and active community involvement. His direction ensures that each project becomes more than a collection of artworks—it becomes a dynamic, evolving cultural landscape rooted in the spirit of its place.
