“Blending Arts and Heritage: Producing Culture in Rural Landscapes”
For over 40 years, my work has explored the subtleties of ritual, imagination, and cultural memory. Drawing inspiration from Irish prehistoric art, Bronze Age artefacts, early monastic metalwork, and 20th-century design and architecture, I work with a visual vocabulary that bridges the ancient and the contemporary.
My pieces often combine the textured surfaces and flowing lines of the past with the bold, austere forms of modern architecture. Through this synthesis, I aim to create artefacts that are timeless, thought-provoking, and deeply responsive to the human spirit.
