Sculpture in the Parklands

The programme explored the boundaries between art, science and technology. The concept was developed as an imaginative way of engaging with new audiences using the established base of Sculpture in the Parklands and international artist and biologist Brandon Ballengee.


Key Role:

  • Commission international artist Brandon Ballengee to create large scale light installation:Love Motel for Insects.
  • Grant writing and fund-raising for the event
  • Co-ordinated design and installation of Love Motel for Insects.
  • Managed arts education programme.
  • Photographic documentation of light installation and education programme
  • Curated travelling exhibition of children's artwork and photographic documentation.
